Moldovan Auto Group (MAG) is a family business built on personal relationships and a shared passion for cars. With generations of experience, we bring a hands-on approach to everything we do. When you buy a car here, you’re not just another customer — you’re working directly with the family behind the business.
It started in one garage, one jack, a toolbox and a fathers guidance.
In 1994, Pete Moldovan bought a small house on a quarter-acre lot in Waco and began his garage adventure. If something broke, he fixed it himself, passing that same hands-on mindset and work ethic on to his seven sons and five daughters.
Inspired by his father, Aaron Moldovan began his own journey into mechanics at an early age. At just 15, with guidance from his father, Pete, and his brother Matt, Aaron rebuilt his first transmission and replaced an engine before even owning his first car.
In 2016, Aaron continued his education at TSTC Waco, studying Aviation Technology and earning certifications in working with jet, turbine, diesel, and gasoline engines. Years of hands-on experience and technical training eventually led him to open Moldovan Auto Group in 2025, carrying forward the family’s passion for mechanics and a commitment to doing things right.
Three decades later the family runs an auto group in their hometown: a showroom, a service centre and an accessories workshop. The processes are documented now, but the rule has not changed. Nothing leaves our yard until it has passed a test our own mechanics would sign.

A family business behaves differently, and you can feel it within the first ten minutes. There is no call center between you and the decision-maker, no quarterly bonus on the size of the deal, and no reason for anyone here to hide a fault in a car.
